with Jung Hae In & Koo Kyo Hwan It's kind of dark. I got started on Korean Dramas during the pandemic. Netflix is becoming known for having a great selection of foreign films. Me, my wife, and both our teen/tween daughters all thought it was great- it’s not easy for all of us to agree. This one just keeps getting better and crazier as it goes. Some movies start strong and kind of fall apart. And it never takes itself to seriously which is kind of a linchpin. Man, it is so many things: visually impressive, full of laughs and inspired lunacy, the actors are on point, and it’s even got a nice philosophical bent to it. At the beginning it seems kind of lame, like ok Orange and Tangerine make you think of Umbrella Academy, seems kind of lame at first. I was even doing a little dad-splaning about how these ensemble cast movies are kind of fun but aren’t usually that great. When my kids put it on I thought ok this’ll be a dumb watch but entertaining. I had been skeptical about Bullet Train since the previews and I don’t like Brad Pitt that much because he’s just kind of dopey. On the Most Popular List, we wait until all episodes have premiered, so you see the views of the entire season. For the weekly lists, we show the views based on the total hours viewed during the week divided by the total runtime available at the end of the week. Some TV shows have multiple premiere dates, whether weekly or in parts, and therefore the runtime increases over time. Country lists are also ranked by views.įinally, we provide a list of the Top 10 most popular Netflix films and TV overall (branded Netflix in any country) in each of the four categories based on the views of each title in its first 91 days. To give you a sense of what people are watching around the world, we also publish Top 10 lists for nearly 100 countries and territories (the same locations where there are Top 10 rows on Netflix). ![]() ![]() Because titles sometimes move in and out of the Top 10, we also show the total number of weeks that a season of a series or film has spent on the list. We consider each season of a series and each film on their own, so you might see both Stranger Things seasons 2 and 3 in the Top 10. We define views for a title as the total hours viewed divided by the total runtime. These lists rank titles based on ‘views’ for each title from Monday to Sunday of the previous week. Every Tuesday, we publish four global Top 10 lists for films and TV: Film (English), TV (English), Film (Non-English), and TV (Non-English).
